Project: Store Locator

Platform: iOS and Android

The Challenge: With the latest redesign of our home and navigation, the store locator functionality has become elevated onto our bottom nav. The current Store locator functionality does not give much information to the customer and cannot differentiate between a regular store versus an outlet store.

With the new redesign I wanted to make it easier for users to distinguish between the two stores as well as be able to view store information and directions easy and quick as possible.

The image on the left is the current search functionality for iOS and the right is my proposed version. The current iteration does not give the user any information about the store or if it is an EXPRESS store or a factory outlet store. We’ve had a lot of users complain about how unclear the experience is.

My goal was to make the two different stores stand out using patterns we currently use on our homepage. The users can easily see stores close to them and are available to swipe up to see even more locations. Tapping on a store card will take the user to the main store page, with information for that store. Ideally this is the building blocks to providing an in-store mode to our customers in the future.
